*Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Need At Least 1.4 ATA To Be Effective
Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society guidelines state that the pressure used in a clinical setting must be at least 1.4 ATA for it to be effective.
This is as stated in the 14th Edition 2019-Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Indications.
Based on research, Niza et al. found that using Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at 1.4 ATA increases blood flow in small blood vessels in peripheral tissues by activating the parasympathetic nervous system due to the high oxygen levels.
Our HBOT Cocoons® operates from 1.4ATA – 1.99ATA.
