Bryan Johnson (Anti-Aging Expert)

The Man Who Aims To Live Till 120

So... Who Is Bryan Johnson?

Bryan Johnson, a tech entrepreneur and longevity enthusiast, has gained global attention for his ambitious anti-aging initiative, Project Blueprint.

Spending $2 million annually, Johnson is on a mission to reverse aging and maintain optimal health. His meticulously designed program combines a strict plant-based diet, daily exercise, 111 supplements, and the constant monitoring of over 100 biomarkers. Additionally, he experiments with advanced therapies like plasma exchanges. With the goal of achieving the biological age of an 18-year-old, Johnson’s groundbreaking efforts are redefining the limits of human longevity.

Why He Started Doing HBOT

Bryan Johnson incorporated Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) into his anti-aging regimen, Project Blueprint, to enhance cellular repair and potentially reverse aspects of aging. HBOT involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized environment, which increases oxygen concentration in tissues, supporting healing and vascularization.

Johnson’s decision was influenced by studies suggesting HBOT’s benefits in extending telomere length and reducing senescent cells, both markers associated with aging.

By integrating HBOT, Johnson seeks to leverage its potential to promote tissue repair and combat age-related cellular decline, aligning with his goal of achieving optimal health and longevity.

Bryan's Johnson HBOT Protocols

Bryan Joshnson followed a structured protocol aimed at enhancing cellular health and potentially reversing aspects of aging.

HBOT Protocol Details:

Duration: 12 weeks

Sessions: 60 sessions over the 12-week period

Pressure: Up to 2.0 ATA

Oxygen Concentration: 100% pure oxygen

Session Length: Each session lasts 60 to 90 minutes

Frequency: 5 sessions per week

This protocol is based on studies indicating that such a regimen can improve telomere length and reduce immunosenescence, both markers associated with aging. Johnson meticulously tracks his progress throughout the HBOT protocol, monitoring various biomarkers to assess the therapy’s impact on his overall health and aging process.

What Would He Be Measuring?

The following are tests and biomarkers that Bryan Johnson will be comparing after he has completed his protocols:

  1. Inflammatory markers: TNF-a, IL-6, IL-10, hsCRP, myeloperoxidase, LpPLA2, OxLDL
  2. Overall biological age assessment: Blueprint Epigenetic Profile which includes epigenetic ages for the brain, blood, lungs, heart, liver, hormones, immune system, musculoskeletal, inflammation, kidneys, metabolic health and telomeres.
  3. Antioxidant function: Glutathione levels Neurocognitive markers: P-Tau217, S-100B Angiogenesis marker: VEGF (established longevity potential)
  4. Other various performance markers, including telomere length, brain function, muscle oxygenation, VO2 max, and cognitive performance.

What Did He Achieved?

As Bryan Johnson only started the sessions in late September, he is still conducting his 3 months programme.

So stay tuned as he plans to share his findings! We will also be updating on his progress and groundbreaking results in the quest for longevity!
