Every Boost Oxygen canister has a shelf life of ‘36 months from fill date’. The fill date is located on the bottom of the canister.
While oxygen itself never expires, this shelf life is to ensure that you receive every boost oxygen canister within this time frame.
After this time frame, Boost Oxygen will still work and are still safe to use if stored as directed. However, users may experience a slight loss of pressure. Furthermore, an opened canister does not expire any faster than an unopened canister.
Although Boost Oxygen is all natural and safe, the FAA and TSA do not allow recreational oxygen in carry-on or checked baggage. Do check with your airline as some airlines do provide preferential service for its passengers.
