In-House Engineering Support
Professionally trained engineers to support service & technical assistance.
Safety Standards
Built-in safety features include two automatic pressure-relief valves, an emergency safety-control valve, two pressure gauges, a triple zipper, and reinforced windows.
Engineered for Lasting Performance
Crafted from high-tensile, military-grade TPU with reinforced stitching. The Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® is engineered to handle pressure far beyond 1.5 ATA without tearing, bursting, or degrading over time.
Designed for our Tropical Climate
Our HBOT cocoons are specifically designed to operate reliably in hot and humid environments. In contrast, chambers from overseas are not optimized for tropical conditions. Hence, they are often more susceptible to overheating, condensation, and leakage over time.
Eight answers before you choose.
What is the O2genes Soft Shell Hyperbaric HBOT cocoon®?
Our Soft Shell HBOT cocoons are the OG pioneers of O2genes — the very HBOT cocoons that started our journey and laid the foundation for everything we’ve built since 2017.
Featuring a compact, space-efficient design, our Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® operates at up to 1.5 ATA, offering a gentler and more comfortable hyperbaric experience while delivering pressure levels that match or exceed many entry-level hard-shell systems.
At 1.5 ATA, it also exceeds the 1.4 ATA pressure threshold referenced by the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) in its definition of HBOT, when administered with near-100% oxygen—bringing together comfort, accessibility and performance in one compact system.
What are my options if I want a Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® at home?
You can purchase a Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® or rent one first. Rental fees are rebated if you later purchase an HBOT cocoon®, whether Soft Shell or Hard Shell. The minimum rental is 3 months for private use and 1 year for commercial use. Let the O2genes team know if you’d like to convert your rental into a purchase.
Can I rent the HBOT cocoon® first and purchase it later?
Rental fees are rebated if you choose to purchase an HBOT cocoon®, whether Soft Shell or Hard Shell. Private rentals have a 3-month minimum; commercial rentals have a 1-year minimum. Let the O2genes team know if you’d like to convert your rental into a purchase.
What is the difference between the Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® and Hard Shell HBOT cocoon®?
In our experience, people new to HBOT often start with the Soft Shell HBOT cocoon®. It is the fuss-free, compact model for everyday home use. Clients who want a more serious, dedicated setup usually choose the Hard Shell HBOT cocoon®, the more luxurious and comfortable model.
What material is the Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® made of? Is it durable?
Despite the “Soft Shell” name, the Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® is exceptionally robust. Crafted from high-tensile, military-grade TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) with reinforced stitching, it is engineered to easily handle pressure far beyond 1.5 ATA without tearing, bursting, or degrading over time.
Can I operate the Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® by myself at home?
Yes. Our Soft Shell HBOT cocoon® units are designed for safe, independent operation, featuring intuitive control panels accessible both inside and outside the chamber. To ensure you feel 100% confident, our O2genes team provides comprehensive, hands-on training upon delivery.
How do I maintain and clean the chamber?
Day-to-day care is simple. After each session, gently wipe the interior with standard non-alcoholic antibacterial wipes. Our professional engineering team will conduct regular servicing and maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
What options do I have for oxygen delivery tools?
You can choose from an oxygen delivery headset, nasal cannula, face mask, or transparent dome (available for selected models). These tools direct oxygen flow straight to your breathing area, maximizing oxygen intake for optimal results during your session.
